The Twelve Apostles
(Installation View)
126 W x 96 H x 3.5 in / Mixed-Media on Twelve Canvas Panels / 2011

The Twelve Apostles
The inspiration for this piece comes in the realm of harmony and perfection. In harmony comes the number 12. 1 is a prime number and signifies the beginning and the singular nature of the universe. 2, on the other hand, is all about seeing two sides of any situation. “The Twelve Apostles” is just that in taking on this stellar subject matter with a non-objective translation of the last supper. In most cases, number 12 is actually a representation of authority and perfection. This series of work creates an all-star visual impression for the viewer hard to miss.
